There was a brief and exciting meeting yesterday with those of us able to gather
round the table in the Community Center after service. We decided to set a meeting
date of Wednesday DECEMBER 3, 2008 at 6:30PM (location to be announced - hopefully
on campus).
At the "meeting", many exciting ideas were exchanged and most importantly it was
agreed we need a centralized method of communication. Gerald kindly offered to put
up a website/chat area for our use after this first meeting. Until that time I
agreed to act as a contact point.
Please respond briefly to this email with:
1) information re: your Gardening/Orchard experience/areas of interest
2) topics you would like to see covered in this initial meeting (can't guarantee
they will all be covered but will put together an agenda for this meeting with a
list of additional topics to be discussed at a later time)

So far, about 30 people have expressed an interest in the revitalization of the
Unity Village orchards/gardens. What a wonderful way to spend the "dormant" season
- sharing dreams and plans for this Spring and the years to come.
