Reminder re: Business Planning Meeting - Part 2

As a reminder:  we are scheduled to continue the work we began in December re: the Unity Gardens Business Plan next Wednesday Jan 7th, 6pm at Drayton Riley's office (2nd and Douglas in Lee's Summit, MO).

 

Bring your modifications to the Mission/Vision Statement as well as answers to the business plan questions we discussed and/or an outline of a business plan you may have found/created since our last meeting.

 

Again, our hopes are to present this at the next Full/General Garden meeting at 6pm on Jan 14th (Community Center).

Hope you have all had a wonderful holiday season so far!

Just an update re: meeting dates/times. 

Per our Dec 10th meeting minutes, a few of us met on Sat, Dec 20th to create a Business Plan and came up with the basis for a terrific Mission Statement.  This will be tweaked further and presented to the group as a whole at our next general meeting (Jan 14th).

We had initially set our next general meeting (for the entire group) for Wednesday Jan 7th at 6pm.  The business plan sub-committee feels that since we've been advised that we will not be on the agenda for the Feb, 09 Unity Institute Board Meeting that we should take a bit more time with the business plan so that when we do present in May 09 (next board meeting) we are prepared with a plan that will be accepted without question :)

That being said, the next general meeting where we will present the proposed Mission Statement and Business Plan to our entire group is slated for Wednesday Jan 14th at 6pm (location to be announced later - again, hopefully in the Community Center).  Since it is such an early time, we again recommend that folks bring their dinner and/or something to share.

Changes in meeting site-directions

Due to Shirley Bowman's service at 7pm in the Community Center, we will have our
meeting in room 229 of the Adminstration Bldg.
 
If you are used to entering the Community Ctr from the door behind the SpiritPath
double-wide, you will want to enter through the door further down toward
security then turn left down the hallway (away from the fellowship area).  There is
a stairwell up to the 2nd floor right there by security (on your right).  Go up
those stairs and you should hear us - 229 is across from the vending machines.
 
Please consider staying for Shirley's service as well :)  It starts at 7pm in the
main fellowship area of the community center.
 
See you in room 229 at 6pm - don't forget to bring your dinner or something to share
since we are meeting at 6 instead of 6:30pm
