Water Shortage

There is an article at Reuters concerning the snow shortage in California and the effect on truck gardening.  I had read an article somewhere that noted that 90 percent of our water use is for the production of farm products (food) and that if the wasted water was eliminated, it would be enough to supply all our other needs.  The reason I thought this was of interest is because we have influences that will affect the prices of our produce including fuel that will make a garden at Unity Village more apt to succeed.
